Orders Not Showing as Shipped on Marketplaces

This article explains why orders may not appear as shipped on marketplaces, and how to ensure tracking and status updates flow correctly from your eCommerce store via Omnivore/eBay Link.



Orders Shipped Without Tracking

Tracking rules are set at a marketplace level. You will need to specify a rule for each marketplace you are selling on.


If some of your orders do not include tracking information:

  1. Go to Settings → Marketplace you are selling on → General in Omnivore/eBay Link.

  2. Ensure “DO NOT mark orders as shipped if carrier and tracking code is not provided” is NOT checked.



⚠️ If you have a mix of tracked and untracked orders and this setting is enabled, make sure any tracking is added to your order in your website system before the order status is marked as Completed/Shipped in your ecommerce platform. 


Important:

  • By default, once an order status is set to Shipped in your store, Omnivore/eBay Link will mark it as shipped on the marketplace, regardless of whether carrier or tracking information is provided.

  • If you do not have a valid tracking ID, leave the tracking field blank on your website. Do not enter “n/a”, “no”, “-”, or any comments.


Orders Shipped With Tracking 

Tracking rules are set at a marketplace level. You will need to specify a rule for each marketplace you are selling on.


If ALL of your orders are sent using a tracked service:

  1. Go to Settings → Marketplace you are selling on → General in Omnivore/eBay Link.

  2. Ensure “DO NOT mark an order as shipped unless carrier and tracking code is provided” is checked.




⚠️ Make sure to enter both the tracking ID and carrier details when marking an order as shipped in your eCommerce platform.
