Overview
Kogan requires valid, registered barcodes for all branded products listed on the Kogan Marketplace. If a barcode is missing or invalid, Kogan may reject new listings or remove existing listings.
This article explains what you need to do to ensure your products meet Kogan’s barcode requirements.
How To Meet Requirements
If you provide a GTIN or UPC in your eCommerce store, it will be imported by Omnivore and sent to Kogan along with your other product data such as price, title, description etc.
If your products do not currently have a GTIN or UPC, add the barcode to the product in your eCommerce platform. Omnivore will then import the updated data and send it to Kogan.
Barcode Exemptions
You may be eligible for a barcode exemption if you sell any of the following product types:
Multi-packs or bundled products
Refurbished goods
Non-branded or generic products
Private label products
